Visual Eddy Products, Inc. designs and manufactures its own line of
eddy current test instrumentation designed specifically for the inspection of
3AL aluminum pressure cylinders. Our visual products page will show
accessories available for visual tank inspection.
Upgrades to existing equipment make it extremely affordable to remain
current. We can upgrade Visual Eddy, as well as, Visual Plus™
units.

- Visual Eddy Mark II

The Visual Eddy Mark II represents the simplest and easiest of
our products.
- Visual Eddy Mark V

The Mark V has been upgraded to meet the latest specifications
and is approved by Luxfer® Gas Cylinders for
inspection of 6061 alloy aluminum cylinders. The system includes a
motorized turntable for rotating the cylinder under test and the latest
software enhancements.

Shoulder Probes
-
Shoulder probes enable the eddy current
inspection of the shoulder region of an aluminum cylinder. It is
commonly thought that SLC (sustained load cracking) can start in the
shoulder region and migrate to the surface without entering the threaded
neck area.

- Opti-Viewer

This visual tool is inserted into the
neck, shines light onto the threads to allow a close up inspection.

- Light Wands
- Visual Eddy Products manufactures light wand kits for
the inspection of cylinders. A kit consists of a short wand and a long
wand and power supply. They are available in warm white light and
ultra-violet.
